About Us

'T2TV Media Uk' have been covering speedway since 1970.  The man in charge "Ken Burnett" first started his career in sports journalism covering the Eastbourne Eagles speedway team when he used to phone through results & Scorers to the Daily Mirror from Eastbourne (a friend of his worked for the Mirror but was not a speedway fan, so gave him the job so he didn’t have to go!
Ken First started as a "Freelance reporter" for the Eastbourne News in 1986, and was "head hunted" by the Eastbourne Gazette & Herald and ended up doing all 3 papers, plus the match day programme for Russell Lanning in 1986 & 87.  
Ken joined Southern Television in 1986 after offering them some film footage that he had shot.  Ken has been supplying footage to ITV ever since on a regular bases.
Ken says " I am now officially contracted to Meridian Television part of the ITV Network as a speedway correspondent and footage supplier including news footage and is in his 31st year with them!
I have also provided footage and reports, Commentary and interviews for Sky Sports, Soccer AM Allsports, TV12, Solent television based on the Isle of Wight and Motors Television based in Paris, the BBC Television including film work for the Sports Personality of the Year, BBC Television A Question of Sport, BBC TV Oxford and also for Williams TV based in Maidstone Kent, TSN Sport News, covering football for Sky Television & ITV.   I was also a interviewer for BBC Radio Oxfords Planet Speedway to provide interviews on a regular bases", and was host of a weekly speedway programme for both TV12 and Solent TV and also provided interviews and match commentary.
"I now "Freelance" for several magazines and Newspapers including the Southampton Daily Echo, The Hertfordshire Mercury and the BackTrack, and Speedway Star, magazine on a regular bases.   I was also joint Author of the book 75 Years of Eastbourne speedway, which was published in May 2006".
Another highlights was providing "Live Professional Commentary" for The Premier league Speedway Riders Championship for Motors TV.  
Now-a-days I provide reports, pictures and film footage for Rye House Speedway, and The Herts Mercury newspaper.  T2TV have been covering sporting events for 31 years, using up to date state of the art cameras and editing equipment. Their clients include  Meridian Television, BBC Television, Motors TV , Sky Sports, Soccer AM, All Sports, BT Sport, Solent TV, BBC Planet Speedway, Artifex.TV and many others. T2TV are now at the for front of Television News reels, they really are the Professionals Choice.  From BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Question of sport.  
2010 saw us start recording all Charlton Athletic home matches (and a few away), this involves producing  a weekly highlights programme and full match program  which are Broadcast on the Charlton  player and website.  Working alongside the vastly experienced Pete Hill, Terry Smith as co-commentator, cameraman and interviewer and now does match day commentary.

The Crew

standard at Brighton University. With a added touch of class by Mike Bennett of Media Answers who has a lot to answer for! has provided footage for many of the top Television companies, including ITV, BBC, Sky TV, BT Sport, Motors TV, TSN, Solent TV & TV12 and Artifex.TV.
Jackie Burnett "The best Camera lady in the business”, now in her 15th year behind the camera, smooth, creative and professional in her work, has provided work for ITV and Sky Sports, Solent TV and TV12.
Pete Hill has been covering sport for over 23 years and has worked for a range of media companies including BBC Radio, Chiltern Radio, Independent Radio News, Hertbeat FM, Speedway Star, and Match Magazine as well as a host of local newspapers covering Speedway, Football, Rugby Union, Rugby League, American Football, Athletics, Rowing and Cricket. He provides live football commentaries for Watford FC and writes the "Where's Vesprini?" Blog for Archant Newspapers when he's not working as the voice of Rye House Speedway for T2TV.
